The original brand name of oxandrolone was Anavar, which was marketed in the United States and the Netherlands . This product was eventually discontinued and replaced in the United States with a new product named Oxandrin, which is the sole remaining brand name for oxandrolone in the United States. Oxandrolone has also been sold under the brand names Antitriol ( Spain ), Anatrophill ( France ), Lipidex ( Brazil ), Lonavar ( Argentina , Australia , Italy ), Protivar, and Vasorome ( Japan ) among others. Additional brand names exist for products that are manufactured for the steroid black market.
It should be noted that in theory if one was to consistently suppress your natural estrogen levels for a long period of time, this would negatively impact your health, including your cholesterol. Due to the ability of Letrozole- to inhibit estrogen so much, this should definitely be a concern to most users. However the research that has focused on the relationship between use of letrozole and cholesterol levels is rather inconsistent in it's findings. Many studies have concluded that the compound is detrimental to both a user's HDL and LDL cholesterol levels, while other research has found no link. Obviously individuals are best served to monitor their cholesterol while using any compound via blood tests however barring that, letrozole should simply not be run for extended periods of time if at all possible. Doing so could cause serious medical complications.
Along with the issues related to blood lipids is the fact that many users complain that their libido is dramatically reduced when using the compound. This is related to the fact that estrogen is partly responsible for the regulation of an individual's sex drive. Since Letrozole- is so potent it can often drive estrogen levels too low and this inhibits a user's libido. To avoid this users can lower dosages, but some anecdotally report that even extremely low doses of the drug can cause problems. If this is the case a less potent compound such as exemestane or anastrozole may be a more appropriate option.
Like all DHT anabolic steroids Anavar side effects can include acne and hair-loss but there are important things to note. Most who supplement with this steroid will not fall prey to acne if they keep their skin clean and generally only those who are predisposed to serious acne problems will have a problem. Further, one reason some run into problems is because they purchase products of an unsanitary nature; as always, buy human grade and only human grade and so many of your concerns will be eliminated. As it pertains to hair-loss, it is true, Anavar side effects can include this as can almost all DHT steroids but its not as cut and dry as you think. If any DHT derived anabolic steroid causes you to lose any hair guess what; you were going to lose it any way. DHT based hair-loss only speeds up the process, you were already going to go bald. If you are not predisposed to male pattern baldness there is no DHT steroid on earth that will cause you to lose the first hair, not even Anavar.
